100 Lenses Published on Squidoo

Finally, I finished my goal for the Giant 100 Club requirements. The club, which only Giant Squid can only apply is for those Giants that have published 100 or more quality lenses. Since I heard about the Giant Squid program I knew I had to work hard to be able to get elected as a Giant in Squidoo. Last June 2009, I received the good news that I was chosen to be one of the new Giant Squids. I was so excited and happy! By then, I only had 54 lenses published.

Rajays, who is like a mentor to me, always believed in me and assured me that I had potential for the Giant 100 Club that was coming up this October 2009. I remember thinking: "Wow, 100 lenses by Sep. 30 2009, that's more than 35 lenses to go". But regardless of the obvious hard work ahead of me, I knew I could do it! I knew that I could get 100 lenses done by Sep.30 2009.

I finished my lens #100 on the night of Sep. 29, 2009, just hours from the deadline! Uff, what a relief! Come and check out my #100, a SquidBoo lens, perfect timing!

I send my application for the Giant 100 Club on Sep.30, 2009 and now I just wait and see what happens. Even if I don't get selected to the Giant 100 Club, I still feel like I accomplished something! I mean 100 published lenses is not that easy to maintain and update, but it's very possible. After the 100th lens, I kept making more lenses. Since then I have one more published and 4 other in construction, coming soon!

SquidBoo: Halloween Gingerbread Haunted Mansions

October is on the way and I'm getting ready writing my SquidBoo lenses. I have written many SquidBoo lenses, but my latest is Halloween Gingerbread Haunted Mansion. One of the things I always make with my kids during Halloween is the Haunted Mansion!

I always get the pre-baked Halloween House at my local grocery store during Halloween time. My kids love to decorate their Halloween Houses, using different color icing, specially orange, black, green and purple. Candies and other sweets can be added. Use your imagination and creativity.

If you are planning a Halloween Costume Party this year, don't forget your Halloween Haunted Mansion. You can even make the kids at the party to make their own houses and vote for the best decoration. Zazzle Showcase on Squidoo

I use Squidoo to drive traffic to my websites and blogs, but other lenses are just to inform or entertain. Lately I found yet another way to use Squidoo. Now, that I found Zazzle and I open my first Zazzle store and gallery, I use Squidoo to show off my creations and feature them in a lens. Flan Recipe on Squidoo

One of the first lenses I made on Squidoo was about one of my favorite Puertorican dessert, the flan. My father is an expert in flan. Every time he comes to visit we make him make us flan, at least for a whole week. Flan is the most delicious and simple desserts that I have tried. My father have lots of flan recipe, but my favorite is the cream cheese flan. I decided to create a lens sharing most of my family flan recipe.

Giant 100 Club

I'm so excited, the deadline for the Giant 100 Club at Squidoo is almost here. The Giant 100 Club is a club for all Giant lensmaster who have created more than 100 quality lenses. I've been trying to for more than six months now to make the deadline and I think I will make it this time. I have created as until this day (9-22-09) 97 lenses.

What Other Squidoo Lensmaster Are Saying About The Paranormal

Today, as I was researching and reading many Squidoo lenses to add in my journal, I came across to so many great lenses on the paranormal. These lensmasters, like me, share a love an obsession with the paranormal. I'm not adding any of my lenses here today, I'm going to highlight my fellow Squidoo lensmasters!

The first paranormal lens that I read was Paranormal-Ghosts-Orbs-Ecto-Mist by lindarandall. This lens contains great Youtube videos of all kinds of paranormal activities. Ever seen an orb or heard voices? Check out her videos and prepare to be scare. Now, Janices7 , and her Ghost Stories and the Paranormal lens, gave me goosebumps. Her ghost stories are indeed very scary. There is updates everyweek with new stories, don't forget to check her lens out!

When I read nrichford, Paranormal Experiences: Are Ghosts Real?, I couldn't believe the amount of article and great information she wrote for this lens. And her story about the shadow people, was incredible! I had a similar experience and still to this day, it scares me to death.

Unsolved wrote a great lens about Unexplained Mysteries. The subject of UFO's and the paranormal are use in this article. Really good information and resources. Now, let me ask you something? Have you ever heard of Haunted Toys and Dolls? Well, that's what KPI lens is all about. Haunted toys, Gothic dolls; very spooky, but interesting indeed.

Paranormal On Squidoo

I have a fascination with the paranormal and this leads me to read, research and write about it quite often. Squidoo is the perfect place for me to express my interests in my likes. I have many paranormal lenses and I have many more in process.

One of my favorite paranormal lens is Ghost Adventures. I just love the Ghost Adventures show and I had to write a lens about it. I also wrote a lens for Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State and Most Haunted. These TV shows are about groups of paranormal investigators visiting supposedly haunted locations around USA and Europe.

This week, the first week of September 2009, I'll be posting about the paranormal and some great paranormal lenses not only written by me but by other great Squidoo lensmasters that are also inclined to write about it. Stay tune for more.

How To Make A Squidoo Lens

Writing your first lens on Squidoo can not only be very easy, it could be very fun too. You can write a lens about anything you can think of. I remember writing my first lens. I had no clue what to write about or how to structure my lens. Today I have more than 95 published lenses and going and making money on most of them. I write at least 3 lenses a week, but there are many lensmaster in Squidoo that are easily doing one lens a day!! Trust me, once you start building lenses, you won't stop, specially if they are making you some money.

Start thinking about things you are interested about or have knowledge, start with something you know best, like hobbies, a favorite movie, music band, your favorite food or recipe, etc. Use your imagination and start creating!

Go right now to Squidoo, open an account (it's FREE) and start writing your lenses. You will find it very easy to do. Just follow the instructions and the steps and you will have a lens in just minutes, it's that simple. Trust me, after you experience the Squidoo family, you would never look back, this is a great family of creative minds coming together and learning from each other.
